Along with our Sunday morning services, West Ridge offers two adult groups for parents/caregivers of children with special needs. These groups meet at the church on the first and third Sundays of the month.
West Ridge is proud to host a series of Saturday events during the year where special needs and their siblings can enjoy games, activities, music and teaching. This is an ideal time for parents and caregivers to get a much-needed day or night to themselves.
Each February, West Ridge is proud to be an official host church for Night to Shine, a prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs, ages 14 and older. The annual event is sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation.
This year’s event at West Ridge featured 140 special needs guests, 160 parents, and more than 500 volunteers. While our guests with special needs enjoyed a “red carpet experience” featuring limousine rides, cheering crowds, food, photographs and dancing, their parents/caregivers enjoyed a catered dinner, massages, bingo games, gift card drawings and live music.Learn More About Night To Shine
