Breakaway is a free respite event for Special Needs Parents. We offer a “little break” from daily stress. Special Needs participants of any age and their siblings (13 and under) may take part in 4 hours of supervised fun planned just for them. There will be lots of fun filled activities planned for the day as well as Praise & Worship Time.

For our Fall Breakaway event we will be having an Outdoor Extravaganza outside at West Ridge Church! Our participants will have a great time as they participant in activities that includes face painting, temporary tattoos, a dance party, a cookout, bounce houses, a petting zoo, snow cones, games, a hayride, etc. During the event lunch will be provided. Lunch will include Hamburgers, Chips, Dessert, Soda & Waters. KidQuest Jr Kids will have Chicken Nuggets, Chips, Fruit Snacks, Juice Boxes & Water (Allergies will be noted as we take all participants allergies into consideration before serving them). Each child will be assigned to a group based on age and taken to each activity by a Background Checked Volunteer.

• We require all volunteers that work at Breakaway to follow our Child Protection Policy. This includes a background screening.
• Refreshments will be available for all of our Volunteers and Guests.
  
• The event will be from 11 am to 3 pm.
