Breakthrough Prayer - week 1 - West Ridge Church

Week One:

Day 1

HOW TO PRAY:
Pray that the worship services at West Ridge would be full of joy and God’s Spirit.

Psalm 26:8
O LORD, I love the habitation of your house and the place where your glory dwells. 

Psalm 27:4
One thing have I asked of the LORD, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to inquire in his temple. 

 

Day 2

HOW TO PRAY:
Pray and repent of anything that is getting in the way of your relationship with God.

Psalm 51:1-2
Have mercy on me, O God, because of your unfailing love. Because of your great compassion, blot out the stain of my sins. 

 

Day 3

HOW TO PRAY:
Pray that your life would bring glory to God.

Psalm 63:3-4
Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands.  

Day 4

HOW TO PRAY:
Pray that your thoughts and the things you say to yourself would be pleasing to God.

Psalm 19:14
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer. 

 

Day 5

HOW TO PRAY:
Pray that you would grow in your understanding of God’s love for you.

Ephesians 3:17-19
Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. 

 

Day 6:

HOW TO PRAY:
Pray as you wait for God to reveal His plans and purpose for your life.

Psalm 27:13-14
I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living! Wait for the LORD; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the LORD! 

Lamentations 3:25
The LORD is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him. 

 

Day 7

HOW TO PRAY:
Pray that God would be strong for those going through trials.

Psalm 31:1-2
In you, O LORD, do I take refuge; let me never be put to shame; in your righteousness deliver me! Incline your ear to me; rescue me speedily! Be a rock of refuge for me, a strong fortress to save me!
