Why “Stuff the Bus?”
During the past year, many parents in our area have suffered job losses, and income reductions and are struggling to meet basic needs for their families. Purchasing basic school supplies is not an option financially for many of these families. This gives our West Ridge Church family an amazing opportunity to shine for Jesus by showing love and support to our community.
Join us on Saturday, July 13 from 9 am–1 pm, as we “Stuff the Bus” with school supplies to help set our local students up for success in the upcoming school year. Our prayer is that the generous people of West Ridge Church will help us fill an entire Paulding County school bus stationed at West Ridge with donated school supplies!

What school supplies can I purchase?
The Paulding County School District has requested the following items:
- Backpacks
- Binders: 3 ring, 1 or 1 1/2 inch
- Filler paper
- Composition Notebooks
- Pencils
- Spiral Notebooks
- Crayons
- Colored Pencils
- Lunch Boxes
Who will receive the school supplies and how will they be distributed?
When the “bus is stuffed” at the conclusion of the four-hour collection period, a driver representing the school district will take the bus to a Paulding County School District facility where the supplies will be sorted (July 15-20) and distributed to families in need on Saturday, July 20 at the Hiram Elementary School.
I am not able to go shopping for supplies or have a prior commitment on July 15. Can I still help?
Absolutely. You can make a donation below and someone from our team will shop for the school supplies. A donation of $50 will allow us to purchase a backpack and fill it with many of the above items.
