During the past year, many parents in our area have suffered job losses, and income reductions and are struggling to meet basic needs for their families. Purchasing basic school supplies is not an option financially for many of these families. This gives our West Ridge Church family an amazing opportunity to shine for Jesus by showing love and support to our community.
Join us on Saturday, July 16 from 10 am–2 pm, as we “Stuff the Bus” with school supplies to help set our local students up for success in the upcoming school year. Our prayer is that the generous people of West Ridge Church will help us fill an entire Paulding County school bus stationed at West Ridge with donated school supplies!
The "Stuff The Bus" Team is currently seeking volunteers to help receive and process the school supplies during the drive! Not available on July 16th? We've got you covered! The following week, a team will be meeting to divide the supplies into backpacks that will be delivered to the schools.
West Ridge is asking its congregation and other community members to stop by on Saturday, July 16 anytime between 10am – 2 pm to donate school supplies.
Simply place a backpack filled with school supplies in your vehicle, pull up to the circle at the entrance of West Ridge Church and our volunteers will remove the backpack from your vehicle. (If you don’t have a backpack to donate, place the school supplies in grocery bags.) We will then put the backpack and/or supplies on the school bus that will be delivered to the Paulding County School District later that day.
Want to get more involved? We are currently seeking volunteers to help receive the donations on July 16 from 10am – 2pm and to sort and assemble backpacks the following week.Volunteer for Stuff The Bus
