The Gift Offering - West Ridge Church

The Gift Offering is a challenge to give a gift to God greater than any single gift you give this year.  It’s a yearly reminder for each of us to keep Jesus as the focus of Christmas.

Initiatives

Through your generosity, here’s what we can accomplish for God’s Kingdom with our Gift Offering and Vision Fund:

Special Needs Building Expansion

Expand our building to create new facilities to better serve families that have loved ones with special needs.

Scotland

Support and grow church plants and minister to the country of Scotland, a country that is only 1% Christian.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)

Invest in the lives and spiritual health of our local coaches and student-athletes.  FCA seeks to make disciples through methods of engaging, equipping, and empowering coaches and athletes to know and grow in Christ and lead others to do the same.

Church Planting

Continue to transform communities and lead others to become fully devoted followers of Jesus through our church plants in cities such as Boston and Detroit. We will also continue to extend church planting internships and residencies.

Special Needs Building Expansion

Approximately 357,000 people live in a 10-mile radius around West Ridge Church, and we believe that every one of them deserves the opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are especially passionate about reaching a group of people that are largely overlooked in our community: families who have loved ones with special needs. Since launching our Special Needs Ministry, this ministry has grown, flourished, and blessed many families who have struggled to find the support and community that they need.

What Progress Have We Made on the Special Needs Facilities?

This year, we broke ground on a new facility where our members with special needs can thrive, belong, connect, and experience the love of Jesus Christ. Your generosity and faithfulness positioned us to have 50% of the estimated $5 million project funded the day we broke ground.

Our prayer is that every family that calls West Ridge Church home would set up a recurring gift to the Vision Fund that would allow us to pay off the building by the end of 2023.
