The Gift Offering - West Ridge Church

The Gift Offering is a challenge to give a gift to God greater than any single gift you give this year.  It’s a yearly reminder for each of us to keep Jesus as the focus of Christmas.

A Note From Pastor Brian Bloye

This year has been powerful, and we’ve seen God’s goodness on display in more ways than I ever imagined. Last year, we presented to you three initiatives God placed on our hearts, which included a focus of raising up the next generation of leaders through interships, expansion of our Special Needs Ministry, and continued investment into church plants. Throughout 2024, all three of these initiatives have thrived, and we are so encouraged by the countless stories of life change. Our goal for the 2025 Gift Offering is to continue building momentum, further equip the ministries to allow them to be more effective, and lean even more into the three initiatives God has called us to pursue. For the past 27 years, during the Christmas season, we’ve invited our church to join us in thanking God for all He has blessed us with by offering a gift to God greater than any other gift we give this season. This is to encourage us to keep Jesus, the true meaning of Christmas, at the forefront of our minds.

As you read through the three Gift Offering initiatives, please take a moment to pray and dream with God about all the amazing things He has in store for the upcoming year. Together, let’s dream big and be bold in our generosity through the Gift Offering, and be ready to celebrate all He does in 2025 and beyond.

Amy and I are grateful for you, and pray for God’s blessings on you and your family during this Christmas season.

2025 Initiatives

Through your generosity, here’s what we can accomplish for God’s Kingdom with our Gift Offering:

Special Needs Ministry

Since the grand opening of our Special Needs Building in September 2023, this ministry has tripled in size from 30 average weekly attendees to over 110! In 2025, we will continue to invest in the programming and resources necessary to see this ministry continue to grow and thrive.

Next Gen Ministries
At West Ridge, we believe we are called to invest in the next generation of leaders and fully devoted followers of Christ. With 21 interns having participated in our internship program and our Young Adult, Student, and Kid ministries bursting at the seams, we will focus on investing in resources, building spaces with increased capacity, and enhancing programs for our Next Gen Ministries.

Praise: Last year, we launched an all new Internship Program to help the next generation of leaders discover their purpose and receive training and preparation for a fulfilling ministry career. Over the course of the first two semesters, 21 interns participated in the program!

Church Planting & Residency Program

Check out the following video about Connor and Annie Hughes decision to follow God's calling in the planting of Take Hold Church in Edinburgh, Scotland.

In 2025, we will continue transforming communities and leading others to become fully devoted followers of Jesus through our church plants in Atlanta, Detroit, Boston, and Scotland. We will also continue to raise up future pastors through our Church Planting Residency Program.

Praise: Last year, Kingdom City Church (Blake & Katie Odgers) in the Brookhaven area of Atlanta and Heirloom Church (Dakota & Maggie Adair) in Kyle, Tx officially launched. Both Blake and Dakota are alumns of the West Ridge Church Planting Residency Program.
