Frequently Asked Questions

Have any questions that are not covered here? Email us at

What will a FPU class or group be like?

Both classes and groups will watch the FPU lesson together and then complete assignments and discussion questions. Classes and groups will take no longer than 2 hours per lesson to complete.

Do I have to share my financial information with the people in my small group or class?

At no time will you or your group members be instructed to reveal any personal financial information to the rest of the group. The activities and assignments will be done by yourself or with your spouse.

Do I have to register for FPU?

Yes. Every person (or household) who is participating in FPU needs to register. Whether you are new to FPU, an alumni, receiving a scholarship, in an existing small group or planning to attend a class, registration is required. This is how you will get your materials and/or help us know who is going through the course with us!

Does my registration cover my spouse?

Yes, you only need one registration per household.

What if I can’t afford to take FPU at this time?

Don’t let cost hinder you from financial peace! You can apply for a scholarship HERE.

When will I receive my materials?

Once you have registered, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions for how you will get your materials and access the online FPU tools.

Is childcare available for classes at the church?

Yes, there is childcare available for the classes.

For Sunday and Monday classes, childcare is available for birth-5th grades.

For Tuesday and Wednesday classes, childcare is available for kindergarten-5th grades.

What if I’ve been through FPU before?

In most cases, those who have taken FPU in the past find great value in going through the material again. If you’d like to get a new book and access online for a year, the cost is only $20. If you don’t need a new workbook or online access, you can register at no cost. Registration is still required to participate in an FPU class or group.

If I want to go through FPU in a small group rather than a class, is there an option for that?

Absolutely! If you’re new to groups, your next step is to attend a Group Launch event (Singles, Young Adults + Married Only). If you’re already in a group that is going to use the FPU curriculum, be sure to register to get your materials.

What if I want to join a small group but have already done FPU or do not wish to do FPU in this season?

We encourage everyone to go through FPU. However, if this is not the right season for you, we invite you to attend our Next Steps class or connect with one of our Womens or Mens groups. If you are married, another great option to check out is ReEngage.

Don’t let cost keep you from finding financial peace. If you need assistance with the registration cost, you can apply for a scholarship.
