WHAT IS A FAMILY DEDICATION?
Family dedication is the time that you publicly commit to raising your child in a way that leads them to be
fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ as they grow into adults. It is a celebration offered several times a year at West Ridge Church – one that truly is a family commitment being made to live as fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. It is a time for parents as they to publicly commit to raise their child according to God’s Word. Participants are encouraged to invite extended family and friends.
West Ridge Church wants to be a strong source of support for parents in raising their children to understand what it means to have a personal relationship with God. We recognize that a child’s home environment has more influence on his or her life than what goes on at church. That’s why we value the opportunity to partner with parents as they provide their child with a spiritual foundation.

REGISTER FOR NEXT STEPS
Prior to participating in our Family Dedication, we ask that families attend our 3-week Church Partnership Class called Next Steps. The reason we do this is because we are asking our church family to make a commitment to embrace and support your family.
We want you to have a better understanding of:

☑️ How you can grow in your faith
Next Steps will help you do that! If you have been attending regularly but have not yet made the decision to become a dedicated participant of our church family, we invite you to take that next step in the journey of leading your family. You can learn more at westridge.com/nextsteps.
READY TO ATTEND FAMILY DEDICATION?
You’ve read through the handbook and attended Next Steps – you are now ready to attend a Family Dedication!
Family Dedication services take place on Sundays at 1PM*. Registration opens four weeks before the dedication date 🗓️, and closes once capacity is reached – or two weeks before the dedication.
*Additional service may be added at 2PM.
Our next Family Dedication will take place on January 11, 2026.
