Students - West Ridge Church

COVID-19 Update:

Students and Parents,

With the recent spread of COVID-19 in our country, our Student Ministry services have been postponed until further notice.  That being said, we are still focused on ministering to students in our community.  The most important thing about our ministry is our Small Groups.  We have encouraged and equipped our Group Leaders to meet weekly with their Small Group online.  From Social Media platforms, to Video Chats and Conferencing, each Small Group will meet weekly to build relationships, grow in faith, and live on mission to serve our community.

If your student needs to get connected into a Small Group, or needs information about when and where their Group is meeting online, please contact us.

RUSH registration is still open and we will continue to closely monitor the COVID-19 situation. In the event that we feel that the cancelation of RUSH is in the best interest of the health and safety of our students, refunds will be issued to all registrants.

West Ridge Students

The vision of West Ridge Students is simple: We lead students to become fully devoted followers of Jesus.

By partnering with parents and creating environments specifically for middle and high school students, we help them claim their faith as their own and live it out every day.

MIDDLE SCHOOL | 6th-8th Grade

(Please Note: Due to the spread of COVID-19, Tuesday Night services will be gathering online only until further notice)
Tuesday Nights from 7:00pm-9:00pm

Revolution is the middle school ministry for students in 6-8th grades. This high-energy service is designed for middle schoolers, so they experience God in a way that’s unique to their age and life stage. Each week students experience worship through singing and practical Bible teaching that speaks to every day life.

After the program, students go to small groups based on age and gender. In these groups, they get a chance to grow in community with other students, ask questions, and explore a Bible lesson with an adult leader.

  • Pizza and soft drink sales begin at 6:30pm • $2.00 for two slices of pizza and a drink

HIGH SCHOOL | 9th-12th

(Please Note: Due to the spread of COVID-19, Wednesday Night services will be gathering online only until further notice)
Wednesday Nights from 7:00pm-9:00pm

Reckless is the high school ministry for students in 9-12th grades. In weekly services and the small groups that follow, students are challenged to live life completely committed to following Jesus over everything else.. Why? So they can glorify God and reach the world with His love. Like the middle school experience, high school students have a service filled with worship through music and practical Bible teaching, followed by groups for the guys and ladies by grade.

  • Pizza and soft drink sales begin at 6:30pm • $3.00 for two slices of pizza and a drink

Our high school students will have the opportunity to be part of 2 different High School Mission Trips this year. Each trip is designed to stretch their faith, move them towards compassion for others, and allow them to be part of God’s work in the world.

BOSTON (June 20th-27th, 2020)
Last year our students served in Boston for the first time. Boston is the most unreached metropolitan area in the country, and many people do not know or believe in the hope of Jesus. We get to work with several church partners in the city of Boston to help share the love and grace of Jesus.

Who are your adult volunteers?

We know trusting us with your student is a big responsibility, one that we take very seriously.  Every volunteer at West Ridge goes through an extensive background check and vetting process, so the adults investing in your students are fully equipped to help them grow in their faith.

What kind of events do you have?

Aside from our weekly gatherings, we have regular events and outings with one goal: have fun. We also have annual retreats, camps, and mission projects.
