Students - West Ridge Church

West Ridge Students

The vision of West Ridge Students is simple: We lead students to become fully devoted followers of Jesus.

By partnering with parents and creating environments specifically for middle and high school students, we help them claim their faith as their own and live it out every day.

MIDDLE SCHOOL | 6th-8th Grade

Beginning Wednesday, August 6th

Services: Tuesday Nights from 7:00pm-9:00pm

Revolution is the middle school ministry for students in 6-8th grades. This high-energy service is designed for middle schoolers, so they experience God in a way that’s unique to their age and life stage. Each week students experience worship through singing and practical Bible teaching that speaks to every day life.

After the program, students go to small groups based on age and gender. In these groups, they get a chance to grow in community with other students, ask questions, and explore a Bible lesson with an adult leader.

  • Pizza and soft drink sales begin at 6:30pm • $2.00 for two slices of pizza and a drink

Orlando (February 15th-22nd, 2020)

Our middle school student ministry is headed to Orlando, Florida to partner with our friends at Genesis Church. Throughout the week our students will serve at car washes, feeding the homeless, community clean-up, just to name a few. Our goal during this trip is to allow our students to be an extension of the church that is already in the community (Genesis) and help to connect people to Jesus through that church.

HIGH SCHOOL | 9th-12th

Beginning Wednesday, August 7th

Services: Wednesday Nights from 7:00pm-9:00pm

Reckless is the high school ministry for students in 9-12th grades. In weekly services and the small groups that follow, students are challenged to live life completely committed to following Jesus over everything else.. Why? So they can glorify God and reach the world with His love. Like the middle school experience, high school students have a service filled with worship through music and practical Bible teaching, followed by groups for the guys and ladies by grade.

  • Pizza and soft drink sales begin at 6:30pm • $3.00 for two slices of pizza and a drink

Our high school students will have the opportunity to be part of 2 different High School Mission Trips this year. Each trip is designed to stretch their faith, move them towards compassion for others, and allow them to be part of God’s work in the world.

Note: Registration opens for Boston and Nicaragua on October 2nd, 2019 at Noon!

NICARAGUA (February 15th-22nd, 2020)
For 8 years our students have had the chance to minister to people in Nicaragua, the second poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. 80% of the country lives on less than $2/day, and it’s even worse in some of the poor villages where we work. We will get a chance to show others the love of Jesus and meet some of the most basic needs we often take for granted.

BOSTON (June 20th-27th, 2020)
Last year our students served in Boston for the first time. Boston is the most unreached metropolitan area in the country, and many people do not know or believe in the hope of Jesus. We get to work with several church partners in the city of Boston to help share the love and grace of Jesus.

Who are your adult volunteers?

We know trusting us with your student is a big responsibility, one that we take very seriously.  Every volunteer at West Ridge goes through an extensive background check and vetting process, so the adults investing in your students are fully equipped to help them grow in their faith.

What kind of events do you have?

Aside from our weekly gatherings, we have regular events and outings with one goal: have fun. We also have annual retreats, camps, and mission projects.
