Students - West Ridge Church

West Ridge Students

The vision of West Ridge Students is simple: We lead students to become fully devoted followers of Jesus.

By partnering with parents and creating environments specifically for middle and high school students, we help them claim their faith as their own and live it out every day.

Fall 2020 Update

As we head into a new semester we have made some changes on how our gatherings and small groups will be shifting. Check out the video to see how to stay connected this semester!

MIDDLE SCHOOL | 6th-8th Grade

Small Groups are the most important thing we do, so we are doing everything possible to ensure groups can consistently meet in person this Fall. Starting at the end of August, we will shift our Middle School Small Groups into homes all across our community.
  • Middle School groups will meet on Tuesday nights from 7-9 pm.
  • Groups are grade and gender-specific. We are also encouraging Groups to be area/school-specific when possible to help limit the spread of a potential outbreak.
    • NOTE: Students get to choose their group and can stay with their current small group even if multiple schools are represented.
  • Groups can be any size up to a max of 20 students per house.
  • There will be 2 to 3 adult leaders in each home.
  • Groups will gather for community, watch a video together, and then have a discussion.
  • Registration for groups begins the week of August 10th

REVOLUTION Monthly Gatherings

One week each month, we will gather together on campus for Revolution from 7 to 9 pm on the following dates:
  • October 20th
  • November 17th
  • December 15th
Revolution is the middle school ministry for students in 6-8th grades. This high-energy service is designed for middle school students, so they experience God in a way that’s unique to their age and life stage. At Revolution, students experience worship through singing and practical Bible teaching that speaks to everyday life.

After the program, students will go to the small groups that they have been meeting with in homes. In these groups, they get a chance to grow in community with other students, ask questions, and explore a Bible lesson with an adult leader.

Social-distancing guidelines and preventative measures will be in place at these monthly gatherings to keep everyone safe.
  • Pre-packaged snacks will be available at gatherings

HIGH SCHOOL | 9th-12th

RECKLESS Monthly Gatherings

One week each month, we will gather together on campus for Reckless from 7 to 9 pm on the following dates:
  • September 16th
  • October 21st
  • November 18th
  • December 16th

Reckless is the high school ministry for students in 9-12th grades. In the services and the small groups that follow, students are challenged to live life completely committed to following Jesus over everything else. Why? So they can glorify God and reach the world with His love. Like the middle school experience, high school students have a service filled with worship through music and practical Bible teaching, followed by groups for the guys and ladies by grade.

Social-distancing guidelines and preventative measures will be in place at these monthly gatherings to keep everyone safe.

  • Food options will be available for purchase at gatherings, though they could change from month to month.

We know trusting us with your student is a big responsibility, one that we take very seriously.  Every volunteer at West Ridge goes through an extensive background check and vetting process, so the adults investing in your students are fully equipped to help them grow in their faith.

What kind of events do you have?

Aside from our weekly gatherings, we have regular events and outings with one goal: have fun. We also have annual retreats, camps, and mission projects.
