The vision of West Ridge Students is simple:
We lead students to become fully devoted followers of Jesus.
By partnering with parents and creating environments specifically for middle and high school students, we help them claim their faith as their own and live it out every day.
This year, we are excited to begin a new adventure serving the people of Guatemala!
Our goal is to build relationships with the locals by teaching children Bible stories through:
🎭 Skits
🎨 Crafts
🙌 Worship
🎲 Games
Additionally, we will provide the local villagers with some of their basic needs. We always share the life-changing message of the gospel and point them back to the local church.
This is an unforgettable trip that offers a variety of opportunities to utilize your ministry giftedness, and we hope your student will join us!
We are continuing our partnership with Heirloom Church in Kyle, Texas! The goal for this trip is for students to:
☑️ Get a glimpse of what it looks like to live on mission
☑️ Learn how to share Jesus with others
☑️ See the heart behind Church planting
☑️ Partner with the local Church
Often, students want to live on mission for Jesus, but they don’t know how. This trip is the perfect opportunity to experience that. They get to eliminate the distractions of everyday life, hang out with other students and leaders who love Jesus, and serve others to put Jesus on display in the city of Kyle, TX. The goal is that students would bring this same fire for Jesus back to Dallas, GA, and be a light for Jesus where they live, learn, and play.
Wednesdays from 7-9 pm
Revolution is the middle school ministry for students in 6-8th grades. This high-energy experience is designed for middle school students, so they encounter God in a way that’s unique to their age and life stage. At Revolution, students will worship through singing & hear practical Bible teaching that speaks to everyday life. After the session students break into smaller groups to discuss the teaching from the night, share about their life, and pray for one another.
Small Groups are the most important thing we do!
Middle School Connection Groups meet on Wednesday nights. Here are some specifics about our Middle School Connection Groups.
– Groups are grade and gender-specific.
– Students get to choose their group.
– Groups range in size from 4-15 students.
– There are 1 to 2 adult leaders in each group.
Sundays from 6:30-8:30pm
Reckless is the high school ministry for students in 9-12th grades. In the services and the small groups that follow, students are challenged to live life completely committed to following Jesus over everything else. Why? So they can glorify God and reach the world with His love.
Reckless meets in-person on Sunday nights from 6:30-8:30pm on the campus of West Ridge Church. Whether you have been involved at church before or not, every high school student is welcome!
Discipleship Groups (D-Groups) involve 2-4 students and one leader who meets weekly from September 8th through May 2nd for 1-2 hours to discuss their weekly Bible reading plan, hold each other accountable for how they live, and pray together. We want to help students learn how to read God’s Word and grow in their relationship with Jesus in Biblical community. These D-Groups will provide the best environment and structure to help them do that. These groups are an extension of our weekly Connection Groups at Revolution and Reckless.

If students are unable to join us in person each week, they can stay connected with what we’re doing through our YouTube Channel and our Student Ministry Podcast. We post videos, audio from the messages, student discussions, and other resources to help students in their faith. It’s also a chance for parents to know what we’re talking about throughout the year. As followers of Jesus, we are called to carry His name to our community, country, and world. With student specific outreach opportunities available for Middle School Students to serve in Austin and High School Students to serve in Guatemala, you can help bring the good news of Jesus to the ends of the earth!
