For over a decade, our middle school ministry has partnered with churches across the country to spread the Gospel and bring the love of Jesus to their communities. Year after year, this trip challenged students to grow in their faith and stand firm on the God’s promises. This year, we are continuing our partnership with Dakota and his wife Maggie Adair of Heirloom Church in Kyle, Texas. The goal for this trip is for students to get a glimpse of what it looks like to live on mission, help students learn how to share Jesus with others, see the heart behind Church planting, and partner with the local Church.

We will be helping Heirloom Church during their Sunday services and sharing the Gospel in the neighborhoods of Kyle, Texas. We will be serving with the local nonprofit homeless ministry to meet the physical and spiritual needs of people in Kyle. Dakota and Maggie Adair will share their passion for church planting and the story and heart behind planting Heirloom. To finish out the week, we will be having a fun day in Austin exploring the city.

Often, students want to live on mission for Jesus, but they don’t know how. This trip is the perfect opportunity to experience that. They get to eliminate the distractions of everyday life, hang out with other students and leaders who love Jesus, and serve others to put Jesus on display in the city of Kyle, TX. The goal is that students would bring this same fire for Jesus back to Dallas, GA, and be a light for Jesus where they live, learn, and play.
