Women of The Bible

This semester my group will be studying women of the Bible. We will start with a few weeks of introduction of different Daughters of Grace including Eve, Rebekah and Rachel, and others. Then we will go into a 4 week study on Esther and then a 4 week study on Ruth. The Esther study is all about seeking God when He is Silent. The Ruth study is to show the love story of a God who was sovereignly and providentially laying each piece of the story of redemption into place. I’m looking for this group to be women ages 27-35 who are single or married and looking for others in the similar age and stage of life as them. We will have one week a month that is community building so that our group can grow closer in our faith and community.

My name is Amanda Whitaker. I’m 32 and a 1st grade teacher for Cobb County. I’ve been teaching for 10 years and love my job very much. In my free time you’ll find me either playing with dog Remi or running my side photography business. I enjoy music and have been singing and playing instruments since I was young. I have attended West Ridge Church for two years. I co-lead a young adult small group last semester and I’m looking forward to leading a women’s group this semester.
