Luke – Gut Level Compassion
This study group is made up of women of all age ranges and backgrounds. This study is with Lisa Harper’s new study book. The back of her book states that we are all striving in one way or another to meet expectations of others. Somewhere under the surface we feel we aren’t good enough for others or God. The good news in Luke’s Gospel tells us that perfection is not a prerequisite for a deep and personal relationship with Jesus. Luke’s account reveals that Jesus is especially fond of ragamuffins in need of a safe place to lean in and linger.
Let’s go through this study together learning how Jesus embraces the outliers, outcasts, and overlooked.
